DIC

  1. Scoring system for disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC) established by the Japanese Association for Acute Medicine. *Criteria for systemic inflammatory response syndrome: temperature > 38°C or < 36°C; heart rate > 90 beats/min; respiratory rate > 20 breaths/min or PaCO2 < 32 torr (< 4.3 kPa); white blood cell counts > 12,000 cells/μL, < 4,000 cells/μL, or 10% immature (band) forms.
