  1. Ordinal logistic regression analyses were used for modified ranking scale. Odds ratios or hazard ratios were adjusted for age, sex, time from onset to admission, current smoking status, systolic BP, fasting plasma glucose, high-density lipoprotein cholesterol, medical history (hypertension, diabetes mellitus, stroke, and atrial fibrillation), types of antihypertensive medications, baseline NIHSS score, location and volume of hematoma
