Management flow of oxygen administration for patients with ARDS. According to the severity of ARDS, HFNC, NPPV, MV, and ECMO should be used as appropriate. The most important thing is to continuously monitor not only oxygenation, but also respiratory drive/ effort and other parameters. If any of these indicators are inadequate, the procedure of oxygen administration should be immediately changed for improving respiratory drive/ effort.
