Percentage change in muscle mass, monitored by an ultrasound and two BIAs. Percentage change in muscle mass was calculated in the comparison with the value of day 1. Muscle mass, monitored by an ultrasound, statistically significantly (p <  0.01) decreased, whereas muscle mass, monitored by two BIAs, did not statistically significantly decrease (Bioscan, p = 0.14; Physion, p = 0.60). p values were derived from mixed-effects models for repeated measures.
