The correlation coefficient between dosages and plasma concentrations. The white circles and strait line indicated the result of each sample and the linear equation, respectively. The plasma dexmedetomidine concentration was moderately correlated with the administered dosage (r = 0.653, P < 0.01). The approximate linear equation was y = 0.171x + 0.259.
